Letizia Goel for UY Studio Holiday flavour campaign

For someone who doesn't have a sense of smell, how would you share the essence and scent of UY flavours?

"Interwoven within the pure and raw qualities of UY flavours is a celebration of confidence, self-empowerment, and sensuality"

Knowing Letizia and her evocative photography style, we knew she would be best to answer this question and capture the characteristics of the UY flavour family.

Each image captured by Letizia delicately explores textures and touch. The editorial is a combination of soft and dewy images taken in studio, and a selection of coarse nature shots taken by Letizia while in the South of Portugal in Summer ‘23. The collective images work in harmony to evoke raw, unfiltered emotions and celebrate the essence of the fragrances.

The mood of the editorial was one of sensuality. With a focus on the intimate and diverse beauty of the human body, the skin becomes a textured canvas bathed in moisture, contrasting to the untreated organic nature images, and showcasing the duality of the flavours.

The editorial captures the soul of UY flavours, where rawness and empowerment harmoniously coexist in the most sensual and unapologetic manner.

It's a visual journey that takes viewers on a compelling exploration of the emotions and connections inspired by the world of fragrance.

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER:

Originally from Spain, currently navigated between Berlin, Paris, and London. Letizia brings her eye to settings that are thought-provoking, beautiful, and at times even controversial. She is principally concerned with human connection and exploration of identity. For her, it is essential to show freedom, diversity and empower minorities. Always inspiring the viewer to abandon passivity and transcend obsolete social norms. Letizia uses predominantly analog photography and experimental darkroom processes.
